Frequently Asked Questions

Having trouble with the web app? Start here.

If you still need help, contact us at and we’ll reply within 24 hours, usually sooner.

Open the web app and sign in. If it’s your first time practicing on Kularise, you’ll need to create free student account first. Once you’re logged in, click on any of the teacher tiles to browse that teacher’s classes. There, you can register and pay for their classes.

First open the web app and sign in. If you’ve registered in advance for class, then a Join Class button will appear under My Schedule 10 minutes before the scheduled class time. Hit the button and confirm your audio/video settings on the following page to enter the classroom. If you lose connection or exit class by mistake, you can rejoin the class following the same steps. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to register for a class that has already begun, so please register in advance!

No, Kularise is free to use for both students and teachers. The price to register for each class is set by the teacher directly and may vary. Kularise takes a small percentage of each transaction to support and scale our business.

Not yet! For now, the Kularise web app supports all desktop and mobile devices. We recommend using Chrome as your browser for the best user experience. On older iOS versions, Chrome is not supported; please use Safari.

Please contact to cancel a class registration. You may cancel up to 24 hours before the start of class without penalty. Your refund will be issued as Kularise account credit, which you may use toward future purchases with the same teacher. Within 24 hours of class, there are no refunds.

Yes. To reset your password, click the “Forgot password?” link on the login screen.

Virtual doors open for class 10 minutes before the scheduled class time and remain open until 15 minutes after the scheduled end time. For example, the Join Class button will appear under My Schedule at 5:50pm and disappear at 7:15pm for a 60-minute class at 6pm.

You may be encountering a camera permissions issue. If you are joining from an iOS device (iPhone or iPad), try using Safari. Unfortunately, older versions of iOS do not allow Chrome to access your camera.

Yes! A teacher is forever a student. Even if you are hoping to teach on Kularise in the future, you may register as a student now. Once you’re off the waitlist, we can switch your account over to teacher permissions.
